Co-Hosted Design Thinking workshop with Speculative Futures Meetup

On February 28th 2018 I invited a group of designers, engineers and creatives to collaborate on solutions to address the 17 UN Global Goals. 

I also provided an update on the #TinyHackerHouse campaign and plans for www.sxsw.com 

This month's CTXWFS MeetUp is organized in collaboration with ATX Speculative Futures.

Anil will speak with us about his past experience organizing hackathons and maker faires across the country that led to his current tinyhackerhouse initiative.

This will segue into a series of facilitated Futures Thinking activities focused on developing communities dedicated to Sustainable Living. Our interpretation of Futures Thinking is speculating on possible Futures by way of Design Thinking applied to a focused topic.

Orienting our activities around campaigning for sustainable causes, we will work with participants to generate ways in which we can evangelize at scale on behalf of our sustainable causes of interest.

Our goal is to foster exploration into what Sustainable Futures means to us and our participants, surfacing varied perspectives on Sustainability and what it means to live a sustainable life, along with methods of outreach to grow a community of like-minded individuals.

Participants will be provided workshop packet that will guide them through the workshop activities and act as a tangible take away.
